Welcome to my list of free software and internet services. Here you will find only the best products and services. Many people seem to be iffy or skeptical about free stuff on the net these days, and who can blame them. Honestly, there are many scams, bad files, viruses, spyware, etc... in many free things you can download off the internet. So to be cautious and aware is the right thing to do, but I also find that some people are completely afraid to download anything off of the net, especially free stuff, and completely avoid doing so, which is unnecessary and extreme. If you are one of those people, I can assure you that all of the following links, products, and services are 100% safe, virus/spyware free, legal, and work very, very well.

I would also like to clear up something about these types of products and services. Most importantly, Anti Virus software. Everyone wants their computers to be virus free and run smoothly all the time right? Of course, that is understandable. Some people however, feel that Anti Virus protection must come at a price, and it is usually an unnecessary price. Products like Norton, McAfee, Stop Sign, etc... are all decent products if used properly, I won't lie, but most people do not realize that what they are paying for mostly with these products is simply the brand name itself, as well as extra features like "PC Speed Up" and "System Clean Up" type features which are technically unnecessary. Anti Virus software is meant to accomplish one main task, find and delete all viruses off of your system. If it can do that, mission accomplished. Free Anti Virus software packages such as Avast for example, work just as well, and are completely FREE. They update their virus definitions on a regular basis just like the ones you pay for, so you will not be left in the dust. As new viruses are constantly created, your computer will remain just as safe with the free software packages in this list.

What with such things as open source programming, non profit programming with (shareware) or without (freeware) advertising, and people just wanting to make a difference without cashing in on it, the internet is full of useful and free products and services. In this day and age of the internet, not everything has to cost money or be created specifically for profit. Hard to believe for some people, I know, but it's true.

The same applies to all of the free software and services listed in this blog. They are all 100% free, work smoothly, and are all useful when you need them. Some of these products will have versions that you can purchase, but they all have free standard editions which cost nothing and work just as well as the ones you pay for. The only difference is no "extra features" are included in the free versions, which as said earlier, are unnecessary for what the main product is meant to do. They all come from and are downloaded from safe, virus free websites. If you lack Anti Virus software as it is, that is where you should start first of course.
